Does slowness on the ethereum network affect deployed solutions?

We don’t consider the ethereum network to work with IoT devices. Obviously it doesn’t fit our needs. But it’s still a good place to work with digital identities (e.g. digital passport for a batch of production). Ethereum is stable and mature network so when it comes to proofs and tokens transfers there are no other candidates
